Our kits are DIY friendly, requiring only a few tools and about 15 minutes. Each kit is accompanied (via email) with an easy-to-follow instructional video walking you through installation. Lastly, we are here to help. Should you have any questions or concerns during install, we are here to help via phone, text, or email.
Most kits ship via UPS 2-3 weeks after receipt of order. If you need a kit sooner, please let us know and we can typically accommodate a quicker turnaround.
All top trim pieces have multiple holes in the backside of the grille which are designed to allow for ventilation. These holes are "hidden" behind the louvers and not visible from the front. The number of holes was determined using sophisticated heat transfer software. You can read more about our analysis and findings here.
Disclaimer: We've never seen a refrigerator spec sheet which addresses the addition of a trim kit and as a result make no guarantees regarding ventilation. It is up to each homeowner to determine their unique ventilation requirements.
