1. Order

New Construction / Remodels: Ordering a trim kit for your new kitchen cabinets is a great way to give your new kitchen a high-end look. Ordering is simple and we provide all the information necessary for you or your cabinet builder to ensure a built-in look.

Step one is to choose the best kit for your project. You can browse our product options, use the chatbot on the right side of the screen, or use this downloadable guide. Step two is to order the kit using our secure checkout process. Approximately one week after your order is placed you will receive an email with tracking information and the kit should arrive 2-4 days after that.

At any time, you or your cabinet builder can download the spec sheet for the kit. It will provide all the dimensions and clearances necessary to achieve the perfect built-in look.

Existing Cabinets / Retrofit: Refrigerators and refrigerator cabinets come in all different shapes and sizes, so available options will depend primarily on the dimensions of your existing setup.

To help determine the best solution for your project, we developed a chat bot on the right side of the screen to walk you through the options. Alternatively, you can email or text a picture of your setup and we'd be happy to review your options.

Once you determine the best kit for your setup, the next step is to order your kit using our secure checkout process. During checkout we will ask for some measurements to ensure your kit is a perfect fit. Approximately one week after ordering you will receive an email with tracking information and the kit should arrive 2-4 days after that.


2. Production and Delivery

Your order is scheduled into production immediately after the online order is received. It takes about 2-4 weeks to produce your kit, depending on its complexity and our production capacity. Once your kit is produced, it is securely packaged and protected for transit.

We use a combination of USPS and UPS for delivery and typical transit times are 2-4 days. All shipping includes a tracking number.


3. Installation

Installation varies by kit, but at most takes 15 minutes and only requires a few basic tools. Each order is accompanied by a detailed instruction video instructions. The kit is DIY friendly or can be installed by a handyman, carpenter, or general contractor.

Our typical installation requires rolling the refrigerator out of its cabinet, but if this is not an option please contact us to discuss whether alternative methods may be possible.

What is a refrigerator trim kit?

A refrigerator trim kit is a set of decorative metal trim panels which are installed around a refrigerator to give it a built-in look. All of our refrigerator trim kits are high quality and DIY friendly. They can be used when building or remodeling a new kitchen as well as customized to fit existing cabinets.

Will the trim kit match my refrigerator?

Our kit is designed to match most all “bright” stainless steel refrigerators. To accommodate slight variations by manufacturer we offer two standard finishes - "bright" and "matte". We encourage you to order samples for review.

How long after I place my order will you ship my trim kit?

Absolutely. Samples can be ordered hereand typically ship within 24 business hours.

Is there a refrigerator you'd recommend to best achieve a built-in look?

Since new refrigerators are being released regularly, we are hesitant to publish specific recommendations. For those after a genuine built-in look, we made this video with some shopping tips you may want to consider. Generally speaking, we have found that most refrigerators with “bright” stainless steel and square edges/corners achieve the built-in look quite effectively.

Is there a warranty? What happens if if my product arrives damage or I don't like it?

Yes, we stand behind our trim kits and offer a 100% no questions asked guarantee if you are not 100% satisfied with the end result. We cover the cost of return shipping.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. Cost is $20 to ship to anywhere in Canada. Please allow an extra one to two weeks for customs clearance. All duties and taxes are paid by buyer.

If I need to remove the trim kit in the future, will there be damage to my cabinets?

The screw holes are on the inside face of the cabinet and can't be seen from the front. For this reason, if the kit ever has to be removed then any left over screw holes would not visible from the front of the cabinet.
